About me and Footsteps Counselling Service
Welcome to Footsteps Counselling Service. My name is Vicky and I am a fully qualified counsellor and counselling supervisor.I have been practicing as a counsellor for 12 years and previously to that I was in the Nursing profession.
I have a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision.(Keele)
Other counselling Qualifacations and studies I have undertaken are;
Certificate in Counselling, Foundations in Christian Counselling
Pregnancy Crisis Counselling/Post abortion counselling
Stress and Anxiety Management
Counselling the Terminally- ill and the Bereaved

Domestic violence and Abuse Training
I have worked for 8 years as a Counsellor in a college working with Students of all ages and also providing supervision to trainee counsellors on placement.
As well as my Private Counselling and Supervision Practice, I am presently working with clients diagnosed with Progressive Neurological conditions and their carers.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(MBACP) and abide by their guidelines for good practice.
